According to the Journal of American Medical Association, obesity, poor physical activity and the resultant associated illnesses are overtaking tobacco as the leading cause of preventable death in this country. Obesity cost America $117 billions according to the Surgeon General. Obesity has been linked to several serious medical conditions. Visceral fat (fat carried in the abdominal area) poses an even higher risk of heart disease, cancer and diabetes. In a study, EPA has measured the levels of toxins in human body from all regions of the country. Twenty toxic compounds were found in the samples. The question is how much do they harm us. The ever-increasing illness and disease in this country are indicative of how vital detox cleansing is now.

There are many reasons supporting body cleansing. Body cleansing strengthens the immune system. Cleansing impurities and flooding the body with essential nutrients support the immune system and all major organ systems.   • The plan was never to give free insurance it is to require everyone to buy it. There will be subsidies available to lower income people to help them pay for it. There is already a program for low income people though. It's called Medicaid. It has been all over the tv, newspapers and internet forever now. You must not pay much attention to what's going on around you. Obama has been flying all over the country trying to get support to get the bill passed even though more than 50% of Americans don't support it. Congress is still arguing over the bill and doesn't seem to be heading towards a compromise that will pass anytime soon. With the estimated price tag of the bill (the government always seems to underestimate) there is no way to pay for it.

  • i, personally, think honey is one of the best sugar substitutes one could use. of course, not if your diabetic, but raw honey is very very good!

    unlike regular sugar, the bees have already pre-digested the honey so you get the full benifit from it!

    its good to eat because its said to add good enzymes to your body. a spoonful a day is said to help give one energy if tired, (and can even help prevent you from getting sick) without the "crashing" effects of refined sugars. i personally use honey every day as a facial mask (mixed with aspirin), it is very healing and moisturizing.

    honey also can be used to treat and heal burns.

    cleopatra herself took honey milk baths.

    with that said, never EVER give honey to an infant, wait until they are 2. honey has things in it that adult bodies can break down, but infants cannot, and it can give them an illness that could kill them.

  • short term affect can be weight gain, slowing of the metabolism and muscle atrophy, but the long term affects can be more serious. when you sit for hours at a time for years of your life, the blood in your legs isn't able to move around as much. this can lead to blood clots in your legs which aren't that bad, but if they detach and go to your brain then that is an anurism. which can be deadly. try to get some excersize, maybe just taking the stairs at work or walking in the evenings. good luck and keep working hard, that is a good quality to have and you will be better off financially for your long weeks on the job
