I know you got no treatment, but common sense should tell you the hospital is no place for dental work.
You were transported so you owe the bill. I am sorry, but this is fact.
Going to an emergency room can take up to, or over, 12 hours to obtain treatment so be forewarned next time.
I hope your tooth has been taken care of and you are feeling better.

You've just realized the most important fact that is never taught in sex ed: Most people get HPV just as soon as they start having sex.

Getting HPV is an inevitable part of life if you want to have sex ever. As your doctor said, condoms do not protect you. Also, men cannot get tested. I know you're pissed at your partner, but honestly there is absolutely no way for him to know he had this!

I guess you could have been abstinent forever, but I for one do not think that is a reasonable solution. At some point you'd probably want to have sex, and then you'd get it. Even if you waited until marriage, you'd probably catch HPV from you husband. I didn't have sex until I was 25 and I got it. HPV is a fact of life and a risk of sex.

HPV is not a forever diagnosis. What happens to HPV is a subject of debate. HPV has the potential to live in your body forever, but recent studies have shown that is rare. Within 1-2 years, the virus is reduced to indetecatble levels in your body. You will test HPV negative. With any other virus, you would be considered cured, but some people still insist that you have HPV lurking somewhere. I guess that's possible, but it's certainly not been proven. (And I wonder, since all warts are caused by HPV, am I still contagious for that wart I had on my hand when I was 7?)

Actually I've seen a couple of studies lately that talk about HPV reinfection. The question is how long you have immunity after you clear HPV. While the idea of reinfection doesn thrill me, you can't get reinfected with something you can't get rid of.

After you go a while without a recurrence, I would consider yourself cured. At that point, that chance of you passing HPV is probably similar to someone who's never been diagnosed with HPV. HPV is that common. They say if you test women in their early 20s, something like 40-50% will test positive. And at least 80% of women will become infected at some point in their lives.

Now most people will probably tell you that you should tell your future partner if there is any chance you can pass it on. But everyone who's ever had sex ever has a chance of passing it on. Everytime you have sex with anyone, you should just assume that you will get whatever stains of HPV they have.

If you really are worried about it, have future partners get Gardasil. It protects against the 2 strains of HPV that cause 90% of genital warts, and the 2 strains of HPV that cause 70% of cervical cancer. It was just apporved for use in men.

Here's what you need to do: eat vegetables, get plenty of rest, and no smoking. You mightwant to look into some supplements. Beta glucan and folic acid are good for HPV.

You will be fine. Good luck.

TMJ problems are often caused by many different things. Some examples are grinding your teeth, poor posture, muscle imbalances, etc. A multidisciplinary approach needs to be taken in treatment. Your dentist can prescribe a mouth guard or you can get one over the counter which is often much cheaper. Your dentist or doctor could also refer you to a Physical Therapist. A PT would address any postural issues which many times is the main cause of TMJ dysfunction.

Have you been tested for celiac disease as well as other food allergies and intolerances?
If the doctor tells you that celiacs have diarrhea and not constipation, just be aware that that is absolutely not correct!
The screening test for celiac is a simple blood test and then an endoscopy if necessary.
I wish you well and I hope you get your diagnosis soon!

p.s. my best guess would be Crohn's or Celiac btw

Thank god i don't get them anymore. When i was a kid i used to get headaches a lot and migraines almost as often. When i had a migraine, my visual thingy was tunnel vision. I could only see what i was staring directly at. Everything else was black. As if i were standing in a pitch black room with a little flashlight pointing at what i was looking at. I remember i got one during a baseball game i was playing in. Coach wouldn't believe me. I missed a pop fly and everyone got mad. I puked.
