Exercise regularly:

Inclusion of regular exercise in your daily life is the best health tips for old age. Exercising will not only help in promoting brain regeneration but also obviate decline in body parts. Practice any form on exercise depending on what you and your body can manage. Talk to you health care provider on what exercise you should undertake in your old age. Seniors can also use yoga which generates flexibility and balance in their body.

Well balanced diet:

Well balanced diet plays a very important part in keeping you healthy in old age. Avoid taking rich food like sweets, high stuffed and fried. As it will leave impact on your lever and may result in damaging it. You should add calcium rich diet as it will strengthen your bones. In old age teeth becomes week and so diet should also be soft cooked so that it intake is easy. Add fruits, vegetables and greens in your daily diet to maintain your health in old age. Proper nutritional food keeps many diseases away and also save you from common problems of aging. Addition of nutrition food can save from problem like obesity, cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and osteoporosis as these are generally prevalent nutrition related health problems which occur in old age.

Be happy and engage in recreational activities:

During old age, Factors like social isolation, low income and depression affect health in old age. Loneliness is a common problem in old age and leads to related problems. During this time, it becomes all the more important for seniors to take on some activity which occupy their time. Take part in social activities and indulge in pursuing your hobbies in spare time.   • Here is what you need to do, if you are serious about losing weight and keeping it off. Eat 6 small meals a day about every 4 hours. Here what that will do for you, your metabolism will increase (i.e. Loose weight) and you will have more engry. If you go on a diet and eat less, your metabolism will slow down and store to fat. That is why diets dont work. Only the size of your fist, carbs (examples:baked potato, pasta, oatmeal, beans, corn, melon, apples, fat free yogurt, whole wheat breads)in one and protien (examples:chicken breast, swordfish, shrimp, turkey breast) in the other. You can also eat vegetables and salads with any meal, they dont have none or little fat). 30min cardo exercise every day. Any of these(examples: walking, jogging, swimming,running, biking, ect), Monday cardo, tues upper body (arms: curls, tricep extensions,pull ups, front press)(abdominals: leg pull crunch, leg raises), (chest: bench press, butterfly, pullover)(shoulders: front press, arm pullover, cross county skier machine)(back:seated row, lat pull downs, back extension)(YOU DONT HAVE TO DO IN ONE DAY, mix it up) wed cardo, thurs lower body (legs: leg pull,leg press, squats, lounges) fri cardo, sat upper. Sunday eat anything you want and dont exercising, you do this on sunday so your body doesnt go into starvation mode. YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stilck with this you will have a great body. also drink aleast 8oz of water daily! Stay away from Mcdonals, Wendys, ect because there is nothing good for you on the menu's even the salads are bad (beaon bits, cheeze, dressing, ect) Good Luck :)

  • yes it is you should wait at least 2 hours after eating before going to sleep or else the food you just ate won't burn up! you shouldn't eat after like 6pm

  • Not sure if any of you are in Sciences or studying Biology etc. But yeah, not all foods that are transgenics are bad for you. In fact, studies have shown that almost everyone, yes everyone has eaten genetically modified foods such as corn, nectarines etc. So I am hoping that if any of you are bashing modified foods have actually done your research. But I do agree, natural is a great way to go, but some cases, it’s not practical cause of seasonal issues.

  • Hon, you need to go and talk to your mother. Don't wait any longer. I would be devastated if my daughter didn't come to me. And you're going to have to find the strength to do many, many adult things now, so there is no point in waiting.

    Please take good care of your health (no junk food, no alcohol, no smoking, no drugs). You need to start taking prenatal vitamins – you can get these at most stores. Get plenty of calcium. You do not need to wear loose pants – that will come in time and you'll want maternity clothes down the road.

    Please, go tell your mom now. Together you can make a plan as to what is in the best interest of your baby, you, and the baby's father.

  • ~Wake up at 6AM
    ~Have a light breakfast such as some cereal or two scrambled eggs.
    ~Eat your lunch.
    ~Come home take a break. Go for a mile walk or two. Rotate this time by running every other day as well as increasing the distance little by little. Listening to music might make the time fly by for you if you hate exercise.
    ~Have a light dinner!!
    ~Go to sleep around 9 or 10PM

    The best advice I can give you is exercise daily and eat well. Eat at least 5 portions of fruit or vegetables a day. Try to cut out as much sugar and snacks as you can manage. Drink plenty of water. Exercise for about 30 minutes a day, remember this does not have to be running a million miles and lifting 10 ton weights. Walking is an excellent form of exercise and is great because you can walk briskly around shops whilst looking at really cute outfits!

  • Not meaning to be anal but some people don’t have time to go grocery shopping for natural foods every week so they settle for vitamin pills ;) . And vitamin pills are great actually cause some are 100% natural ingredients. It’s better to have vitamins in pill form than to not have it at all. But I agree, natural foods are the ideal and great way to go ;]. I just wanted to add that multi-vitamins are good too. Studies have shown that calcium pills are better than getting it from milk ;S

  • A multi vitamin suh as centrum is good. Flaxseed oil capsules are great as well.
